14 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari and Mombasa Tour

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by a Kisima The Safari Company representative who will brief you about your Kenyan Safari Tour as you head to your chosen hotel in Nairobi for an overnight stay.

We begin our journey towards Samburu in the Early Morning. We travel by road to Kenya’s northern frontier. Wild and rugged, Samburu Park is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River.

It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found North of the Equator, from the Reticulated Giraffe to Grevy’s Zebras and Beisa oryxes. Overnight Stay at your chosen lodge or Luxury Camp and leisure upon arrival.

Dawn breaks in golden bands as you start your day in the bush by scanning the river from your tent’s veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand. Before the dew is off the grass, you are off in pursuit of the Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. The day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in your cozy camp.

Distance: 210 km. Approx. 4-5 hours 17 minutes by road

Depart Samburu after breakfast. Your destination today is the Aberdare National Park. Travel overland through plantations of Barley and wheat to The Aberdare Country Club, nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill in Nyeri, Nyahururu.

After lunch, set off to your lodge, located in the forest on mountain slopes of the Aberdare Mountains at 7,000 feet. This outstanding lodge offers high altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: Giant forest hog, Bush pig, Tree Hyrax, large Spotted Genet, and the elusive Bongo Antelope. Wildlife can be observed from the different levels of the lodge – and from outside, you can see, hear and smell everything. Inside, you can sit with a cup of tea and stay warm and cozy.

Distance: Around 90 km. Approx. 2 hours 52 minutes by road

After enjoying your breakfast head out to Lake Naivasha which is yet another stunning, bird watching destination in Kenya. You will enjoy your lunch and embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Lake’s famous Crescent Island. Return to your lodge later on for dinner and overnight rest.

Distance: 245 km. Approx. 3 to 5 hours 37 minutes by road

Your driver guide will pick you at around 7:00am and set off your journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive will take about 5 hours. You will arrive in Maasai Mara shortly afternoon and check into Sarova Mara Camp for Lunch.

After lunch, you will depart for an afternoon game drive where you can be able to explore variety of wild animals such as lions, waterbuck, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, elephants, buffalos, hippos among others, these species are best spotted around Mara River most especially in dry season. After game drive head back to the lodge.

Head for morning full day drive. You will encounter many amazing animals the park’s scenery is also rewarding. Return to the lodge for early morning breakfast and Leisure.

Depart after breakfast with packed lunches and drive back to Nairobi.

Distance: 215km. Approx. 3 to 4 hours 40 minutes by road

Breakfast and depart. Drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, check in at the lodge. Then drive to the park for incredible afternoon game drive where you will be able to spot wide herds of elephants and other animals like buffaloes, giraffes, lions, antelopes among others. After game drive, proceed to the Lodge for an overnight stay and leisure.

Breakfast, then depart for your remarkable full day game drive to experience wildlife animals of this park such as Jackals, serval cat, Aardwolf, bush baby, wildebeest, baboons, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, cheetahs, Grant’s zebras, caracal, hippo among others. Re turn back to Lodge for overnight.

Breakfast at your lodge and then check out then depart to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for Lunch.

Afternoon game drive in the park for best spotlight location of wildlife along the prominent Mzima Springs and some of the wildlife to see include hippos, leopards, crocodiles as well as variety of fish species inside the clear waters. You will later on return to the lodge for Overnight.

Distance: 210 km Approx. 3 to 4 hours by road

Breakfast and depart. Embark on a final morning game drive after which you will exit the park and set off for a 4 hours’ drive to Mombasa where you will arrive in time for Lunch. Afternoon is at Leisure. Overnight at the resort

Mombasa to Nairobi: After breakfast on day 14, which is the last day of your 2 weeks Kenyan Safari
